Publisher tinyBuild and Happy’s Humble Burger Farm developer Scythe Dev Team has announced Deep Cuts, a cinematic horror virtual reality rescue mission coming to Quest this fall, followed by PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR in 2025.

“With Deep Cuts, we’ve harnessed every inch of the Meta Quest hardware to create an unmatched experience, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the physical virtual reality medium,” said Scythe Dev Team director, founder, and principal technical engineer Kaleb Alfadda in a press release. “Our team meticulously optimized every aspect to ensure fluid performance and rich, detailed environments that truly bring the game to life. We’re excited to offer players an experience that fully exploits the potential of the hardware, setting a new bar for standalone virtual reality.”
