A Stardew Valley player has pointed out that the game would hugely benefit from letting the player grow lemons. Stardew Valley's 1.6 update added a lot of new content and even some new crops to the game, but lemons weren't among them.
Stardew Valley has expanded a lot over the years, and developer Eric «ConcernedApe» Barone has a history of listening to the game's fans. The conversation included multiple additions to the game that would help to improve upon the ingredient system, with some suggesting lime trees or even avocados. Others suggested that the game could expand a bit, adding new fruit trees to the game every year instead of just for a short period of time.
