Sacrament is a bustling city that has been repeatedly ravaged by attacks from both Torn and raiders. Although the Watcher in the Rookery is eager to host the Cerim at the start of, the player eventually has the opportunity to raise their roof. Purchasable houses are locked behind an optional quest that is easy to miss. With coin and quests standing in the way, becoming a homeowner is challenging.
To unlock the ability to purchase a house in, you must complete the "" side quest. This task becomes available immediately after slaying Warrick the Torn and starts by speaking to Winnick, although it is best to wait until level six to start. This relatively long quest requires you to square off against the boss, Darak Falstead, multiple times before completion.
Darak Falstead is first found in the northern reaches of the Orban Glades, past the Cerim Whisper you've already visited. After Darak has been felled, return to Winnick in Sacrament, free the prisoner Rattigan, and clear out the Black Trench in The Shallows to face the Warband leader one last time. This is a relatively easy fight, but Darak changes significantly between his two encounters. Upon returning to Sacrament, the housing market will officially be opened.
Available houses in appear on the map when you return from completing "." Three total homes are available to the Cerim, costing 20, 25, and 30 silver, respectively. Even if you regularly sell your unnecessary materials, this is still a substantial amount of silver to spend.
Before making this purchase, it's best to farm copper by slaying and looting nearby bandits in the Nameless Path and Orban Glades. There are only three houses for purchase, but this may change as the early access title
