Insomniac's excellent Ratchet & Clank reboot, released in 2016, has received a surprise update. The update adds a fan-favourite weapon for free, just in time for the eighth anniversary of the game's launch. If you already own the game, simply navigate to the PSN store page, and you can play around with the Bouncer.
Apparently, getting the Bouncer into the game has been something community director James Stevenson has been trying to do for a while now, stating on Twitter that he'd «been trying to make this happen for like half a decade». Previously, only players who preordered the game had access to the weapon, meaning anyone who picked it up in the intervening years was one weapon short of a complete arsenal, with its inclusion delayed because of «legal hurdles».
The DLC's description reads: “Unleash havoc on foes with the Bouncer, an iconic weapon from 'Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando'. Launch a bouncing bomb that deploys even more bouncing bombs that home in on targets!”
Rock-solid PC port, though
What do you think? Is adding the Bouncer enough to entice you back to Ratchet & Clank? Let us know in the comments section below.

So strange for this game to receive a new weapon for the anniversary, but can't complain with a free little update.
@Deadlyblack It was a pre-order weapon originally. Now it is free for everyone.
I bought it day one back then, it's a good game with a good price
