The first Madden NFL 25 details have seemingly leaked ahead of an official reveal this week.
According to ever-reliable dataminer billbil-kun, Madden NFL 25 will be announced on May 16.
The game is expected to be released on August 16, but Deluxe Edition owners and EA Play subscribers will be able to start playing on August 12.
The standard edition of the game will reportedly cost $69.99 / £59.99 / €69.99, while the Deluxe Edition will be priced at $99.99 / £89.99 / €99.99.
While Madden NFL 24 cover star Josh Allen was announced alongside the game last June, this year’s cover star is likely to be confirmed after the game’s initial reveal, it’s claimed.
In terms of features, Madden’s FieldSense gameplay system will reportedly be improved with a reworked physics engine.
The game’s development will be covered in a four-part Madden NFL documentary chronicling the history of the franchise, Amazon Prime Video announced today.
“The untitled EA Madden documentary reveals the never-been-told story of Madden NFL, from its archaic 8-bit origins to its success as an annual must have—against all odds,” according to a press release.
“For the first time ever, EA Sports is opening their vault of rare and never-been-seen footage, while also allowing cameras to follow along as the team finishes the next generation of the game.”
It has also been confirmed that Prime Video has placed a series order for a Tomb Raider adaptation from Fleabag creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge.
Electronic Arts is gearing up to release racing game EA Sports F1 24 on May 31 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One and PC.
