RuneScape has just unveiled a fresh Archaeology Dig Site, Daemonheim. The fantasy MMORPG by Jagex is bringing you more treasure, more mysteries, and, of course, more epic loot. This mini-dig site is set in the ruins of Daemonheim. Don’t know what that is? Keep reading then.
Jagex has transformed the surface of Daemonheim in RuneScape with a stunning graphical overhaul. Daemonheim is a massive dungeon complex tucked beneath an ancient castle, sitting on an icy peninsula over in the eastern part of the Wilderness. It’s the first major makeover since its debut back in 2010.
Now, with more eye candy and deeper stories to explore, your Archaeology adventures are getting a serious upgrade. But, to even set foot in this revamped paradise, you need to hit level 73 in Archaeology. And you also need to have freed Skaldrun from the Frozen Floors in Dungeoneering. So if you haven’t yet, you might want to get cracking on those requirements.
Once you’re in, you get to see The Warped Depths. This new underground area is dark and creepy and it’s packed with new Dragonkin Archaeology collections and shiny relics. Unlock the ‘Spirit Weaver’ Relic Power, and you can rake in XP or optimise your Summoning training efficiency.
Balarak’s Sash Brush and Skeka’s Hypnowand are the ones. The Sash Brush boosts your Archaeology excavation success, while the Hypnowand introduces a wicked new style of hunting and combat gameplay. On that note, take a look at this dev diary vidoe of the new Daemonheim site in RuneScape below!
For those new to the game, Archaeology was added to RuneScape in 2020, and it’s been a favourite ever since. Who doesn’t love digging up ancient artefacts and uncovering the secrets of Gielinor’s past? It’s one of the 29 skills that keep us all hooked. Go ahead and check it out on the Google Play Store.
