is set to release in just a few days, and early box office projections point to the Disney sequel being another strong movie to perform this summer.
Early box office estimations (via Deadline) point to Inside Out 2’s box office projection being one of the best of the summer, with experts suggesting the film could launch at upwards of $85 million in the U.S., and $50m globally, totaling a $135 million global launch.
Should those numbers ring true, Inside Out 2 would set the benchmark for biggest opening of the year to date in the U.S., and would come in behind Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire ($194 million) as the second-highest global launch of the year. The report also suggests that Inside Out 2 will have the biggest post-COVID opening for a Disney animated movie, which would be huge for the company.
