Braid: Anniversary Edition has been hit with a brief delay, but the blow was softened by the news that the anticipated package will come packing some 40 additional levels. Developer Jonathon Blow revealed that the anticipated enhanced re-release will now arrive two weeks later than anticipated, on 15th May for PS5 and PS4.
Officially styled as «Braid, Anniversary Edition» (SEO's nightmarish enough, thanks, Blow), the news was issued in a press release, which details the additional levels included. These consist of some 14 index levels (15 in the mobile version), which are used to navigate the game's 15+ hours of developer commentary, 12 alternate design levels with explanatory commentary, and 13 all-new full puzzle levels, with 16 puzzle pieces that combine to make a new frame.
Out in late April 2024
