The Galaxy Z Fold 6 is still some time away from going official, but new information has surfaced claiming that the foldable phone will offer a better camera system than the one found in the Galaxy S24.
The tip comes from a source we normally don't hear much from, so I would suggest that you take this with a grain of salt. However, the source claims that Samsung's upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a better camera system than the one found on the Galaxy S24. If that happens, it will be the first time that foldable phones offer better cameras than the devices from the S series.
Now, the camera system on the Galaxy S24 series is nothing to scoff at. Even if you look at the base and the Plus variant, you still get pretty decent cameras. The primary is a 50-megapixel sensor with OIS, and there is also a 12-megapixel ultrawide sensor and 10-megapixel 3x telephoto camera. Consumers would have been more than happy if the same camera system had found its way into the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but it appears that Samsung has other plans.
Sadly, the source does not have any other information on how the new camera system on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be improved over the Galaxy S24, which means that we will have to wait for more information to surface. Since July is no longer that far, we will get more details going forward, and we will be sure to keep you posted about everything we learn. Now, the reason why I would take this with a grain of salt is that a previous tip from Ice Universe already established that the Galaxy Z Fold 5's camera system is going to carry over to this year's Fold 6, and tips from that source have always been very credible.
