MultiVersus Fans Are Split On Banana Guard Character Reveal

MutliVersus recently revealed that Banana Guard is the game's second new character coming to the game following the relaunch, but the reception has been a little more mixed this time around.

MultiVersus' big relaunch is less than two weeks away, and developer Player First has started rolling out information about the new additions to the game to get everyone nice and pumped. We've had loads of details about the game itself, including new modes and moves, and it was also recently revealed that The Joker will be included in the relaunch.

There has been intense speculation surrounding these two other mystery characters, and several banana-themed teases over the past few days had players guessing everyone from Beetlejuice to Barbie. MultiVersus finally lifted the lid earlier today to reveal that the second new character joining The Joker on launch is the Banana Guard from Adventure Time, a rather left-field pick that isn't very apeeling to fans, it seems.

There are currently two reactions to Banana Guard's inclusion floating around social media at the moment, one of disappointment, and the other of pure, unbridled joy.
