EA has shared more details about Madden NFL 25, including new additions coming to Franchise Mode, including rebuilding the NFL Draft and returning Team Builder.
EA revealed that Franchise Mode is being "recharged" in a multitude of ways. Most notably, it brings back Team Builder in this particular mode. Introduced originally in Madden NFL 2002, Team Builder allows players to build a team they want. You can create every player on your roster and pick the team colors, uniforms, and stadium. EA also confirmed that customization for custom teams, like College Football 25, will be done through a website. Team Builder in Madden NFL 25 will also allow players to upload their own logos for their custom team, share their team with other players, or download another player's custom team creation.
EA also confirmed that it is rebuilding the NFL to make it more authentic based on what you see during the actual NFL Draft each year. A few examples include a new prospect board showing things like pre-draft measurables. A Draft Board will also be introduced, and immediate feedback will be provided with Draft grades after you draft a player for your organization.
More interestingly, EA confirmed that NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell will appear during the NFL Draft. For example, when Roger Goodell announces players drafted in the first round, such as the first overall pick, that player will walk out in a suit. Some additional details for Franchise Mode include new draft generators and rookie stories, an option to create a female coach, and a will provide team and rookie records to access.
Madden NFL 25 is now available for pre-order. Those who buy the Deluxe Edition get access to Madden NFL 25 three days early. Those planning to buy Madden NFL 25 and College Football 25 could also buy the MVP Bundle, a $150 bundle that offers the Deluxe versions of both games.
