Another, somewhat more creative suggestion from opalmermaid420 suggested seeing if they had YouTube installed on their Switch, and typing a message into the search bar that they may find in their search history. While this would have been an extremely creative way to secretly message someone, sadly, Shikkakku confirmed YouTube was not installed on the device.
