Players who return to the second-best-selling Switch game thus far will remember that certain activities can only be completed at specific times of the year. From June 1st until August 31st, players in the Northern Hemisphere will have summer activities unlocked, while players in the Southern Hemisphere will have access to winter events. Here are ten events players can participate in over the next few months.

Summer players in the Northern Hemisphere can participate in theBug-Off starting on June 22 and then on the fourth Saturday in July, August, and September from 9 AM to 6 PM. Though the first entry is free, players will need to pay 500 Bells to participate again on the same day. Keep in mind that Flick will pay extra for any bugs caught and sold during these events — a total of 1.5x their usual sale price!
In the Southern Hemisphere, the Bug-Off event occurs on the third Saturday of November, December, January, and February.
For each bug caught during the three-minute timer in each Bug-Off run, players will be awarded a point, which can later be exchanged for prizes. It will require several attempts if players want to complete their insect-themed collections of clothing and other decorative items. Since each type of critter awards the same — just a single point — players should focus on quantity over quality when it comes to bug catching.
