A new battle royale has been announced by Readyverse Studios and Walker Labs, called OPEN, with it being described as having multiple IPs involved with multiple modes and biomes. The first confirmed IP is Ready Player One, with author Ernest Cline collaborating on the project. Warner Bros. Discovery is also involved with the Ready Player One collaboration.
Readyverse Studios is also describing OPEN as a metaverse experience using web3 technology. There will be multi-round collaborative and competitive game modes, but only one player will be able to claim overall victory.
