A Palworld player has shared an interesting image showing how much ore they managed to gather with the help of the new ore site that was added with the latest patch. The game is still in early access, so Pocketpair keeps releasing frequent updates that constantly add new features to the game.
Ore is one of the most important materials in Palworld and, before the update, the main way to gather it was by finding ore rocks which are spread all over the world. Many players even placed one of their bases around these rocks to have constant access to ores, considering that these rocks keep respawning after 24 hours of in-game time.
Ores are used in the Furnaces to craft three different types of Ingot: Regular Ingot, Refined Ingot, and Pal Metal Ingot. In their most recent Palworld patch v0.2.0.6, Pocketpair has added a new production structure to the game named Ore Mining Site in which certain Pals can use their Mining skills to gather ores without the need to leave their base. This was one of the most requested changes in the Palworld community, especially considering that the game already featured production structures such as a Stone Pit and a Logging Site, which made acquiring Stone and Wood much easier. Many fans have already taken advantage of the new Ore Mining Sites and assigned their most powerful Pals to maximize production time. A Reddit user named mcduubly has shared an in-game screenshot showing over 150k Ores placed in their Refined Metal Chest.
The post got a lot of attention in the community, with many players saying that adding this new production structure was one of the best decisions Pocketpair could've made. Another Redditor named silver-potato-kebab- shared a video showing two Ore Mining Sites that produce approximately 10 Ores per second. To unlock the new Ore Mining Sites, Palworld players need to reach level 15 and use 2 Ancient Technology Points.
