Dead by Daylight Chapter 31 is now available on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. Called All Things Wicked, this update expands Dead by Daylight with a new Survivor and map, as well as another terrifying Killer.
Behaviour Interactive's asymmetric survival horror game originally debuted on PC in mid-2016 before making its way to consoles a year later. While it immediately established itself as a major hit, selling over a million copies in its first two months, the massively successful 2020 release of Dead by Daylight Mobile and collaborations with other horror franchises like Resident Evil and Silent Hill propelled it to even greater heights. As of early 2024, Dead by Daylight boasts 60 million players across all platforms.
The fact that Behaviour Interactive has been churning out new content on a quarterly basis for seven years and counting certainly helped the game stay relevant. The latest such release rolled out on March 12 in the form of Dead of Daylight Chapter 31, All Things Wicked. The new Survivor and Killer featured in this update are called Sable Ward and The Unknown, respectively. The latter is a horrifying monster described as an ancient evil whose true nature remains a mystery, hence the name. As if its design wasn't scary enough, the game's newest Killer also appears to have a propensity for mimicking human behavior in the most unsettlingly inaccurate ways.
Meanwhile, Sable Ward is a young woman who is missing from her hometown of Greenville Square in the Dead by Daylight lore, having mysteriously disappeared from the local cinema in front of some shocked witnesses. Greenville Square also happens to be the new map introduced in All Things Wicked. Comprised of a theater, arcade, and some auxiliary areas, it is here that Dead by Daylight players will try to survive encounters with The Unknown.
