2K Games confirms eight more wrestlers joining the playable roster of WWE 2K24, which launches on March 8. The updated roster of WWE 2K24 includes beloved legends, active members of the RAW and Smackdown rosters, and up-and-coming young talent from the NXT roster.
To celebrate WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia, WWE 2K24 will feature a Showcase of the Immortals mode. This new edition of WWE 2K's staple Showcase mode allows players to relive iconic matches and moments from past WrestleMania events, including Eddie Guerrero vs Kurt Angle at WrestleMania 20 and Kevin Owens vs Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania 38. The roster of WWE 2K24 is expected to be one of the largest in the entire series, and players will be able to manage their favorite wrestlers in the returning MyGM mode.
The official Twitter account for WWE 2K24 confirms Alba Fyre, Thea Hail, Bad Bunny, Jey Uso, Bronson Reed, Maxxine Dupri, Isla Dawn, and Tegan Nox will be playable in the game's roster at launch. Bronson Reed, Thea Hail, Isla Dawn, and Tegan Nox are newcomers to the WWE 2K series, while Alba Fyre, Jey Uso, Maxxine Dupri, and Bad Bunny are returning wrestlers fromWWE 2K23. This will be the first WWE 2K game where Bad Bunny is included in the base roster instead of a pre-order bonus, and Bronson Reed will finally make his playable debut nearly three years after being cut from the WWE 2K22 game. In addition, 2K Games teases that more WWE 2K24 roster reveals are coming soon.
The response to the latest roster reveal appears to be very positive, with many WWE fans excited about playing as Bronson Reed, Bad Bunny, and many more wrestlers in WWE 2K24. Other fans are hopeful that Lash Legend, Kelani Jordan, and other promising NXT superstars will also be playable in the WWE 2K24 roster.
