There has been plenty of confusion and controversy about who’s in the game and what the proper character ratings should be for big-name performers like Cody Rhodes, but few are expecting CM Punk to make an appearance in the base roster due to how close his surprise return was to WWE 2K24’s planned March 8 release date.
CM Punk himself recently addressed his current absence from WWE 2K24’s playable roster by posting a video of himself on Instagram Stories. In this video, Punk acknowledged that his relatively recent return is an obstacle to him appearing in WWE 2K24, and that Visual Concepts has already revealed the bulk of the game’s base roster. He also noted that he wasn’t teased in the initial WWE 2K24 DLC packs either, prompting fans to wonder if he will be featured at all. Hence, Punk stated that he intends to “get to the bottom” of his WWE 2K24 status, with fans sharing his video across social media.
