players who find the various playable races a little too alive are in for a treat as a new mod aims wants to provide plenty of zombified fun. While undead characters play a substantial role in the universe, and even in Larian Studios' hit RPG, the base experience doesn't allow users to create and play as a character that's already dead. Players won't be able to use traditionally healing methods and some of the subspecies have some strange added bonuses; Ghouls have the ability to devour dead bodies while Mummies can remove their organs and stash them in containers. Liches must always be bound to their Phylacteries while a Wight can take some time to create their own Half-Wight.
Given that the «Ghastly Ghouls» mod is purely an aesthetic and mechanical change, players who want to use an Undead race won't be granted any different dialogue options. While they do have an option to select two passive abilities that should provide dialogue choices associated with other races available in the base game. To compensate for the lack of new speech, the mod does come with over 50 different Head models that can be swapped across 29 different bodies, granted a good amount of customization.
