Even with characters such as CM Punk joining the WWE 2K24 DLC roster, one of the fans' major gripes is that the roster slots occupied by McAfee and friends could have gone to missing characters such as NXT Superstars like Sol Ruca, Von Wagner, Lexis King, or Oba Femi.

Amid the disappointment, some fans still expressed their intent on how to utilize the characters included in the pack. With McAfee's history in the NFL, some players have mentioned creating a football-inspired faction led by McAfee. A few had wished that former WWE and NFL Superstar Rob Gronkowski could've been included in the pack, but fortunately, WWE 2K24's Community Creations may be a way to appease those who want to creatively use the characters.
