WWE 2K24 fans discovered that AEW star Kenny Omega's entrance is available for use in the game. WWE 2K24 allows players to create their own wrestlers, oftentimes recreating wrestlers from other promotions using the preset moves and entrances available.

Entrances are important to establish a wrestler's personality and gimmick before the match even starts. One of the most recognizable entrances today is from The Bloodline, which sees the heel stable walking slowly towards the ring and raising their pointer fingers in acknowledgment of their Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. WWE 2K24 fans can recreate this entrance and many other iconic entrances for their original characters.

In a surprise twist, one of the preset entrances available in WWE 2K24 is «The Cleaner,» which is AEW star Kenny Omega's entrance. In a clip by Twitter user RyuFromStreetss, they show AJ Styles doing Omega's signature finger-gun pose upon coming out and when he reaches the middle of the ring. Many other WWE 2K24 fans have also shared their own clips of their favorite wrestlers with The Cleaner entrance.

Many WWE 2K24 fans were pleasantly surprised, but also confused that the game included an active AEW star's entrance. Some also believe that this might be a hint that Omega would be signing to the WWE, even though there's no news that the wrestler was leaving AEW. Currently, Omega is out of action in AEW because he's recovering from diverticulitis, an inflammation or infection in the digestive tract.

Omega isn't part of WWE 2K24's roster, but it's highly likely that players will use Create-a-Wrestler and other mods to bring him to the game, especially now that The Cleaner entrance can be used. The Cleaner is one of Omega's monikers that was coined during his stint in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), which references a person who cleans up crimes. Meanwhile, his former AEW colleagues, CM Punk and Jade Cargill will be WWE 2K24 DLC characters, while also being featured stars in AEW Fight Forever.
