While many might believe that this was just a neat detail to symbolize the name of the region, fans have spotted another interesting thing about the illustration. If players look closely, the Giants can be seen kneeling forward in a pretty weird way. Many believe that they might have been impaled, leading to theories Elden Ring Shadow of Erdtree DLC's Messmer the Impaler could be behind it.
