The most obvious fact is that the Sony Xperia 1 VI is going to be running on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, something that we already knew about. In addition to that, the phone is also going to bring a 16mm ultra-wide camera, a 24mm primary sensor, and an 85-170mm telephoto zoom camera. Needless to say, the whole camera setup is unapologetically Sony, and considering the company's decades of experience in cameras, we are going to get some really good photography out of this phone.
The hardware is not really something that Sony is going to be focusing on this year with the Sony Xperia 1 VI. However, the company has made sure that there is enough emphasis on the software, so if that is something that you have been looking for, this is the phone you should be picking up. The new phone is going to get a single camera app that is inspired by the company Alpha lineup of cameras. The app will also come with something called "human pose detection technology" straight out of the Alpha cameras that will let you get the right focus every time, even when the subjects are facing away or have their faces hidden away from the camera.
