The already large roster of playable characters in has grown this week with the release of the title's first DLC, the. The latest in a long-running wrestling franchise, has taken the action to new heights with a wide variety of game modes, a myriad of wrestler choices, and improved character creation. The new DLC is the first of five planned for the game, with the next release slated for this summer.
The base game roster for is already quite impressive, boasting 250 stars of past and present eras. The will add five new fighters: the pack's partial namesake CM Punk, the Dudley Boyz duo, Sandman, and Terry Funk, as well as a new MyFACTION card for manager Paul Heyman. The DLC aims to celebrate the hardcore world of Extreme Championship Wrestling and bring some of its biggest hitters throughout wrestling history to players.

Screen Rant: I'm curious a little bit about how your inclusion first came about. What was the process like integrating you into the game? Did you have a lot of say over your appearance and your moves or stuff like that?
D-Von Dudley: Listen, I got a phone call saying, «Hey, we're going to put you in a new video game. What do you think?» I go, «WWE, right?» They go, «Of course.» «Then hell yeah. I got nothing to say, so I'm good.» [Laughs] WWE and the makers of the video games have always been good to myself and Bubba, so we never really had to put any influence on anything that was done in terms of that.
