Tell Me Why is free to own for Pride Month
Tell Me Why, the other adventure title from the developers of Life is Strange, is currently currently free to download on Steam and the Xbox marketplace. The three-part series launched back in 2020 for $19.99, and while the first part of the trilogy has been free since 2021, Dontnod has made the adventure available in its entirety for free during June in honor of Pride Month for the past couple of years.

Focusing largely on how your decisions impact the unfolding narrative, Tell Me Why tells an engaging story while staying light on mechanics. Fans of Telltale’s adventure titles, or Dontnod’s seminal adventure, Life is Strange, will feel right at home.
As with previous entries in the Dontnod catalog, the dialogue is occasionally cringe-y and can be a bit heavy-handed in its delivery, but the game still displays a surprising amount of literacy surrounding the lived experiences of trans people.
