Where Winds Meet, the upcoming Wuxia-inspired RPG from Everstone Studio, is also coming to PlayStation 5.
Sony and Everstone producer Beralt Lyu confirmed the arrival on PS5 during Sony's PlayStation State of Play broadcast overnight. Initially announced as a PC exclusive, the game received a closed beta for US players recently. The game is set during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period in imperial China from 907 to 979. The title is said to offer a vast and seamless open world with richly filled different regions. "Where Winds Meet has an oriental martial arts theme, and we attach great importance to the presentation of martial arts (Wuxia) elements in the game", producer Lyu explains. "Weapons are an important part of the player’s combat ability. We try to restore a variety of unique weapons in Wuxia martial arts in the game such as Spear, Sword, Fan, Dual Blades, Umbrella, and Glaive."
On PS5, the title will be optimized for the PS5 DualSense controller to further enhance immersion.

Shortly after the game's announcement in 2022, we interviewed the game's development team. This interview contains plenty of details about the upcoming title. Be sure to read it in full here. We've included a short part of the interview below:
How big is the playable world in the game? How long does it take to get from one end to another of the map?
We expect the first version to have more than 20 square kilometers (5K * 5K), but we are constantly adjusting this according to the content. As the world of this game has a 3D structure, there is an underground space and altitude. The game will continue to be updated and expanded in the future. The first version will feature a large city, Bianjing City, a large wild area, and small towns.
Where Winds Meet has yet to receive a release date on PS5
