Realm of Ink launches in Early Access for PC on May 17
Roguelite action game Realm of Ink will launch in Early Access for PC via Steam on May 17, publisher 663 Games and developers Leap Studio and Maple Leaf Studio announced. A full release will follow for unspecified consoles and PC later in 2024.
The Early Access release will feature the following content:
- Complete four-act levels and eight bosses.
- The first playable character, Red the Swordswoman, with three weapons.
- Full gameplay for 20 Ink Gem skills across four tiers.
- Full gameplay for 15 Ink Pets across four tiers and over 40 forms.
- Over 150 Perks to provide diverse building possibilities.
- The first layer of world-building and approximately 30 percent of the storyline.
- Endless mode gameplay for challenge seekers.
During the Early Access period, the game will be frequently updated with optimizations and content additions that follow a detailed development roadmap. This includes more playable characters, expanded weapon sets, more Ink Pet gameplay mechanics, bosses, and more.
“We are incredibly excited to be releasing Realm of Ink onto Steam Early Access and taking the next step on our development journey,” said Leap Studio CEO Dai in a press release. “While we aim for a flawless official launch, as a newly established independent game studio, we acknowledge that our experience and resources are still growing. We recognize that only by relying on genuine feedback and suggestions from players can we continuously refine our product and deliver the best gaming experience possible.”
