Following the release of Update 1.6 for Stardew Valley, a number of new players have jumped into the indie title, including one unfortunate player who learned a hard lesson about their 137 casks needing to be placed in a cellar to be usable. While there are a number of helpful guides for Stardew Valley, fans often find themselves running into common issues spurred on by poor planning.
Since its initial release back in 2016, Stardew Valley has become a staple of the life-sim genre, with many praising it as one of the best indie games of all time. Fellow members of the Stardew Valley community offered their sympathies, with many sharing their own stories of making the exact same mistake. Users offered a variety of potential solutions, including mods for the PC version of the game that allow casks to be placed anywhere on the map and the possibility of using an extra controller to run a local co-op mode and upgrade the shed to get a cellar added on. Others pointed to the Deconstructor machine in Stardew Valley
