A big feature said to arrive in 4.7 already has one big problem that may be difficult to circumvent. Version 4.6 is still underway and players are now allowed to explore a new small area to the south of Fontaine, which contains a secret and massive underwater area that deepens the lore of the region, as that underwater section contains the ruins of the ancient kingdom of Remuria. The current patch also added some enticing Character Quests and, in addition, the playable version of Arlecchino in , who had long been awaited, even before Fontaine’s release.
There is still a lot to do in Version 4.6, from events to upcoming quests, but several new leaks about the next update show that it may be a big patch with three confirmed characters in 4.7. Additionally, there are also rumors that it may bring a new permanent game mode that will change how players tackle the endgame portion of the action RPG. Initially rumored to be a new version of the Spiral Abyss activity, recent leaks have debunked that theory and indicated it will be its own game mode in Mondstadt, allegedly called the Imaginarium Theater.
The Imaginarium Theater has yet to be confirmed by HoYoverse, but based on the leaks so far, this will be a mode in which players have to face different stages of enemies, all of which possess a boss, altering their team comps along the way. The rumored game mode will allegedly bring modifiers, such as Elemental Type restrictions, as well as the ability to use the same character during the activity only twice. The rumored endgame mode in 4.7 is expected to be challenging and will put players to the test when it comes to character builds.
For now, Imaginarium Theater has been compared to ’s Pure Fiction, Forgotten Hall, and even the Simulated Universe, because of the randomization of perks obtained throughout stages.
