The breakout hit monster-catching game from developer Pocket Pair offers plenty of things to do within its in-game world, between capturing new Pals and building up their bases. Palworld's in-game bases offer multiple structures to allow players to generate in-game resources, even including new Pals through the Ranch and Egg Incubators. Now, one fan has found an unusual glitch with the Egg Incubators.
Eggs serve as one of the main ways for Palworld players to acquire some of the game's rarest Pals, with a variety of different creatures available. Players can find Eggs throughout the game's world, each boasting different types and sizes corresponding to the Pals that can be hatched from them. Placing an Egg within an Incubator will eventually result in a new Pal hatching and joining the player's team, with rare Pals like Jormuntide and Suzaku available. Now, however, a Palworld player is attempting to hatch a Pal in an Incubator from an unusual source.
Reddit user Staccado shared their odd discovery on the Palworld subreddit, showing off the strange bug with the game's Incubators. The attached screenshot shows the player placing non-Egg items within their Incubators, with both a Small Pal Soul and a Precious Claw placed in an Incubator. Both eggs show a significant wait time for the «eggs» to hatch, with the Pal Soul and Precious Claw taking 48 hours to hatch. Both items also list «a little cold» as their status, suggesting the player would need to warm up the Incubators with a Campfire.
The strange glitch saw plenty of confused reactions from other Palworld fans within the post's replies. One fan jokingly suggested that a «MissingNo» would hatch from the items, referencing the infamous glitch Pokemon from the first generation Pokemon games.
