Former WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon remains embroiled in a sexual misconduct lawsuit alleged by former employee Janel Grant. As a result, 2K has decided to partially censor McMahon's face in WWE 2K24, in archival footage featured in the game's Wrestlemania Showcase mode. While McMahon denies Grant's allegations, which include sexual assault and trafficking her to secure wrestling talent, he resigned from WWE as CEO the day after the federal lawsuit was filed.
As relayed by VGC, McMahon's image has been blurred out during the majority of his in-game appearances. Still, his prominence in WWE history and active part in WrestleMania matches means unfortunate situations in which most of the screen is dominated by his obscured face. However, the villainous heel, sometimes known as Mr. McMahon, isn't wholly censored. He still appears as an in-game character during a match between The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin, appearing unblurred in cutscenes.

Are you surprised to see McMahon's inclusion? What do you think of the decision to blur his face out rather than attempt to cut the scenes involved? Would that not be possible due to his level of involvement? Let us know in the comments section below.
