It's rough out there right now if you're a Starfield fan. We know that more content is on the way in the Shattered Space DLC coming at some point this year, but with a third of 2024 already gone, we're still yet to hear any news about it. It's left some fans in a state of limbo, with a handful of small updates to get them by until Starfield's next big content drop.
Fortunately, modders have been picking up where Bethesda left off, with creations such as the recently released TGs Galactic Colonies Expanse giving players things to do during the wait. Recently uploaded to Nexus Mods by creator Tank-girl444 (thanks IGN), this mod includes a whole bunch of things that fans of Starfield have been wanting for a while, including massive mechs that you can actually build yourself.
That's just one of the massive new features that Tank-girl444's mod introduces, who has spent the last month of their life dedicating themselves to this one project. Not only does it give you a variety of huge mechs to mess around, it also gives you a number of building mechanics to use that will help you really get the most out of each one of your outposts.
For example, Tank-girl444 has astonishingly managed to add an entire farming system to the game, allowing you to turn your farm into a massive agricultural complex, as well as "40 new farmable plants and production items" that you'll be able to create, eat, and sell for a profit. There's even Bio Domes that allow you to take a biome from a planet and add it to another, letting you grow things on barren planets with little life.
With this mod, you can essentially turn your Outpost into a full-blown city or village, which will also feel more alive than ever thanks to ships visiting and dropping off prospective sellers and other NPCs. Set up a good defense with the new ability to build turrets and have mechs patrolling your base, and you'll soon create a massive trade HUB that will be the envy of the entire Settled Systems.
