Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, the sequel to the well-received third-person shooter released in 2011, will reportedly feature a PvP mode, revealed in a newly surfaced art book.
The YouTuber prdalien0 seems to have obtained a copy of The Art and Making of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, which traditionally comes with the collector's edition. Seemingly, the art book has brought in some spoilers of the upcoming title; the one that sounds more interesting and appealing is the inclusion of a dedicated PvP mode.
For a quick rundown on what to expect for this game's PvP mode, the art book reveals that the mode would compete against Marines only, with different classes available to players. Moreover, gamers would get a variety of customization options, including the ability to create their own clan customizations and a dedicated social space/hub area. That's it from us when it comes to spoilers; however, you can view the video to learn more about the title.
Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 was originally meant to launch this past Winter before publisher Focus Home Interactive and developer Saber Interactive announced a delay. The game is now slated to launch on September 9 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S|X consoles.
