The latest gameplay trailer for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has seemingly confirmed that Grabs are returning alongside the iconic Sonic Sway counter move from Budokai Tenkaichi 3.
As desperate as we all are to never see "Wishlist Now" again, you can't deny that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has been pretty consistent with its news drops and trailers. We've been receiving new character reveals pretty consistently and even got a gameplay showcase just a few months ago that featured a battle between Goku and Vegeta.
You might think that gameplay showcase confirmed all of the moves and abilities that will be available to players in Sparking Zero (especially since it also introduced several new ones), but that seemingly isn't the case at all. It might look like a basic combo, but it's actually an improved version of his grab from Budokai Tenkaichi 3, suggesting they're making a return. We haven't seen any other character use a grab so far in Sparking Zero, with the closest thing being moves like Goku's Meteor Smash.
It's possible the move is a quick combo, but the movements are nearly the same and Yamcha gets sent flying as if it is a grab, so
