Pixar has dropped another video for the long-awaited animated sequel to 2015’s Oscar-winning movie.
The behind-the-scenes video features the main cast, including Amy Poehler, Maya Hawke and Ayo Edebiri, discussing what fans should expect to see from Riley’s new emotions. The sequel will arrive in theaters next week on June 14.

In the latest featurette for Inside Out 2, Poehler led the cast into introducing Riley’s four new main emotions, including Hawke’s Anxiety, Edebiri’s Envy, Adèle Exarchopoulos as Ennui and Paul Walter Hauser as Embarrassment. These four emotions came after HQ received a sudden expansion, as Riley officially enters puberty.
“The film returns to the mind of newly minted teenager Riley just as headquarters is undergoing a sudden demolition to make room for something entirely unexpected: new Emotions! Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust, who’ve long been running a successful operation by all accounts, aren’t sure how to feel when Anxiety shows up. And it looks like she’s not alone,” reads the synopsis.
Inside Out 2 is directed by Kelsey Mann from a screenplay written by Meg LeFauve. It is produced by Mark Nielsen, with original director Pete Docter serving as an executive producer. The sequel will once again feature the voices of Amy Poehler as Joy, Phyllis Smith as Sadness, and Lewis Black as Anger.
