Live service kart racer Disney Speedstorm is continuing to expand on its extensive character roster, with the upcoming Inside Out season adding a further five racers from 13th June – with two more mystery additions to be added later on. Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust, and Sadness will all be suiting up to join the race, ahead of the new movie later this month.
There’ll also be a brand-new track inspired by the Pixar film, as well as a Team Battle mode, which should finally put to use some of those co-operative Ultras that some characters have. Ranked races are getting an overhaul amid pay-to-win criticism, while the title’s mobile version is out globally in less than a month, too. That’ll feature full cross-save with the console release.
It’s been a topsy-turvy year for the Gameloft gacha, with many of the developer’s tweaks drawing ire from its community. But with a Nightmare Before Christmas season on the horizon, we’re still hopeful this title can take off; the core gameplay is actually really strong, and there’s a lot to like about the circuits and soundtrack, too.

Any word on how many of the 5 new drivers will be voiced? It is weird driving with the new ones that aren’t.
