Lies of P has surpassed seven million players, Neowiz has announced. The publisher shared this impressive figure on the six-month anniversary of Lies of P's release.
Developed by South Korea-based Round8 Studio, Lies of P launched to critical acclaim at the tail end of summer 2023. Reviewers and players alike commended the game's intricate crafting system, tight combat mechanics, and inventive enemy designs, among other qualities. Bandai Namco offered another testament to that trend in late February, when it revealed that Elden Ring hit 23 million in lifetime sales. Between that and upcoming titles such as Rise of the Ronin, Black Myth: Wukong, and Kristala, not to mention Elden Ring's Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, this truly seems like the golden age of soulslikes, with new exciting titles continuously popping
