Bandai Namco has released a new gameplay overview trailer for Sand Land, the desert-roaming adventure title that's based on Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama's one-shot manga. The nine-minute video provides what is probably our best look at the game yet, ahead of its release on the 26th April.
The trailer covers pretty much everything you need to know, detailing exploration — both in vehicles and on foot — and the title's action combat system. As long as the map isn't too desolate — and we're not just chasing down generic objective markers — we could have a great adaptation on our hands.

I think you've hit the nail on the head — as long as it's not a fetch quest extravaganza and the world is interestingly populated, this could be brilliant
The only thing I'm worried about is time consuming traversal in a unnecessary large world; a molasses slow tutorial; and long-ass unskippable dialogue.
Nothing about a JRPG set in a vast desert screams fast-paced.
looks really good and gives me ps2 era vibes that ive been longing for, unfortunately again im just not into anime but people that are have been lucky this gen.
