Genshin Impact could be switching out one of the currently unreleased Fontaine characters in favor of Sethos, who plays a major role in Cyno's second Story Quest. A fact that has certainly rung true for the region of Fontaine is that Genshin Impact is no stranger to making decisions on the fly, especially when it concerns its gacha system – most notably, the characters that find their way onto its Event Banners. This makes banner leaks especially important to the Genshin Impact community, and players try to keep themselves informed of any emerging changes.
Version 4.6 of Genshin Impact is scheduled to add a significant amount of evergreen content: Arlecchino, two Artifact Sets, a weekly boss, the subterranean zone of Remuria, and two Story Quests. The recipients of these Story Quests are Arlecchino and Cyno, with the latter being a welcome surprise. Players have always considered Cyno in Genshin Impact to be one of its most intriguing characters, with plenty of untapped lore to be explored. Moreover, his particular brand of humor has further endeared him to the community, even if Tighnari might strongly feel otherwise.
Sethos is expected to make his first appearance as a character related to Cyno in Genshin Impact Version 4.6, though the exact nature of their relationship remains unknown. However, according to Mero, one of the most reliable voices when it comes to Genshin Impact leaks, Sethos will become a playable character before the release of Natlan. Unfortunately, this could come at the price of Emilie being moved out of the Fontaine patch cycle entirely, as she is now missing from the latest banner data. Though there is a possibility that Emilie will feature as a playable character prior to Version 5.0, the current situation strongly implies a delay.
