After over a decade of development, the gorgeous stop-motion narrative adventure Harold Halibut has finally arrived. For the most part, the game doesn’t focus that heavily on puzzles and guides you by the hand through its story, but there still are a few parts in the game where you might find yourself a bit lost.
Midway through Chapter 4 of Harold Halibut, with 45 in-game days left, the very guided approach of the rest of the game opens up a bit as you’re required to complete a couple of tasks for researcher Brigitte. One of these tasks is setting up a broadband connection for the cave Brigitte is doing her experiments in. This requires a few steps, but don’t worry, we’re here to walk you through it…
As you wake up in Chapter 4-2 with 45 days left, you’ll be tasked with “finding something to do” without any of the usual guidance as to what that might be. So, now what? Well, what you need to do is head to the Flumylyn Cave where your fishy alien friends live. Upon exiting the tube in the cave, head down the steps, then to the west through the semi-hidden passage to the place where the “Crack” is. Talk to Brigitte and she’ll give you a pair of tasks to complete – “Find the missing adapter” and “Set up a Broadband Connection.” Here’s how to do the latter.
Head to the Agora Aracdes district, then head to the actual arcade at the far end of the area and talk to Rafi at the desk. They’ll refuse to help you. Dangit!
When you leave the arcade you’ll meet up with your young friend Felix, who will give you the password “Flatfish,” but wont’ tell you where to actually use it. Hmmm, where to go?
Head to the Utility District. Between the Pharmacy and Post Office, you’ll see a staircase going up. This leads to an off-screen door you might otherwise miss. Head up to that, use the password, and you’re in.
