Sackboy: A Big Adventure has been receiving continual post-launch support with countless free costumes, and it's wonderful. The 3D platformer is one of the overlooked stars of PS5's launch line-up, and whether you played it years ago or have yet to hop in, you'll be able to pick up a whole bunch of fun extra outfits for free — including this latest one.

Yes, Astro Bot is the next freebie DLC for Sackboy, and it's a natural fit; the character's proportions are a close match for LittleBigPlanet's hero. Astro's Playroom is pre-installed on every PS5, so a lot of people will instantly recognise this new costume, too. The Astro outfit will be available to claim starting 8th March, and as mentioned, comes at no extra cost.

Astro Bot joins lots of other PlayStation heroes in Sackboy: A Big Adventure, such as Nathan Drake, Aloy, Selene, Kratos, and many more.

My heart almost skipped a beat thinking a new Astro Bot game was announced. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come?

What we actually want is a new full-length Astro game…. but I’ll still take this for sure! As for Sackboy however, although I bought it a couple years back, I only got around to playing it over Christmas and I absolutely loved it. Such a fun platformer.
