Konami seems to be very slowly pulling back the curtain on its PS5 remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, as after Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter teased the title for his YouTube legacy series, the game's main menu has been put online. Not so noteworthy in itself, but now Hayter has come out to say he's played the full game, and also added «it was spectacular».
Hayter said he was able to play the opening of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, up until the famous bridge cutscene where The Boss defects. In the tweet below, you can see the remake's main menu screen, which zooms in on the jungle.
Besides its original announcement trailer and some follow-up in-engine footage, very little has been revealed about the remake that Konami is cooking up alongside Virtuos. There's no release date attached, but more news will be shared as part of David Hayter's YouTube video series. Do you think it's out this year? Make a prediction in the comments below.
Liam grew up with a PlayStation controller in his hands and a love for Metal Gear Solid. Nowadays, he can be found playing the latest and greatest PS5 games as well as supporting Derby County. That last detail is his downfall.

This will be cool… I will buy this… but without my guy Hideo being involved, even if its good, its not though right

Best MGS hands down but would it give off the same epic feeling we had first time playing it… For example that epic fight with the ghillie guy in the forest is similar to the awesome TLOU2 unknown sniper mission with all the realism you can get. It might feel old in these times.
