Konami’s upcoming Metal Gear projects received a few bits of new information lately, showcasing the menu screen of Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater and updates coming to Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1. While it promised a more substantial presentation “soon,” it seems that David Hayter, who voices Naked Snake in the original, went hands-on with the title.
In a recent tweet, Hayter said he played the opening of Delta: Snake Eater up to “the bridge scene” recently. While jokingly asking followers not to “tell anyone,” he called the experience “spectacular.” This particular scene is part of Virtuous Mission, the opening mission. It introduces the core mechanics and characters while setting the tone for the overall experience.
Hayter will reveal more details on the remake in Konami’s Metal Gear Solid Legacy Series of videos, so stay tuned for further updates. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is in development for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. It’s launching this year, per PlayStation, but Konami has not officially announced a release date.
Please don’t tell anyone…

up to the bridge scene the other day.)
(It was spectacular.)
