Pentiment developer Obsidian Entertainment has pushed out a new PS5, PS4 update for the historical title that fixes its comically blunt Platinum Trophy name. Formerly named just «PlatinumTrophy», unlocking the final reward will now grant you a gong called «Historia Tassiae». Patch 1.3 also tweaks the PS5, PS4 home screen icon from a close-up of Andreas' face to the black and orange key art.
Elsewhere, the patch updates some PS5 and PS4 controller graphics in the settings, and the High Contrast accessibility option should now always render correctly. The 120 frames-per-second feature on PS5 is now no longer an exclusive, as update 1.3 makes it available on Xbox Series X.
Pentiment was the first of four Xbox titles revealed for other platforms like PS5 and PS4, with the next being Hi-Fi Rush next week — it at least gave its Platinum Trophy a suitable name at the first time of asking. Live-service hits Grounded and Sea of Thieves will then follow in the coming months.
In our Pentiment PS5 review, we gave the game an 8/10 and praised its art style, intriguing story, and earnest recreation of the 16th-century time period. Have you been enjoying the experience just as much? Let us know in the comments below.

Where they were so inept they didn't even add the word Trophy to 5 different platinum trophies. They just called them, wait for it… Platinum. Amateurs.
Be interesting to see who would win in a fight between this news story and the Royal family picture scandal. I need to go lie down, It’s all too much!
Not sure why
