Players begin their Timerunning adventure with a set of basic green gear and may loot other equipment as they go, but can also upgrade their gear using the unique Bronze currency earned through quests and other activities during the Dragonflight Patch 10.2.7 event!
Fully upgrading Timerunning items will cost quite a bit of Bronze!
Flying, including Dragonriding, is now unlocked at level 10, so shortly after finishing the introductory scenarios teaching players the basics of Timerunning and dropping them into The Jade Forest, players are given the freedom to go just about wherever they want! One of the first stops should be the new Infinite Bazaar at the Tian Monastery in The Jade Forest, where a host of new infinite dragonflight vendors have taken up residence.
Players may notice new hourglass icons on the map, indicating the presence of the Infinite Dragonflight.
Alongside some new daily quests and cosmetic vendors, Momentus will upgrade that starter gear, or anything else players find along the way. Although upgrades cost Bronze, they otherwise work exactly like gear upgrades in Dragonflight, with a reduced cost if you already have higher item level gear on your account (which apparently counts standard characters as well).
Just like Dragonflight, upgrades are discounted account-wide.
However, there are also a few requirements — upgrades are level locked up to 21/36, which requires level 70, after which further upgrades require a minimum item level across all upgradeable gear. This is presumably to prevent players from funneling all of their bronze into just their strongest pieces of gear, such as weapons, while ignoring everything else.
Keep the requirements in mind, you can't just funnel bronze into an over leveled weapon!
