A Pokemon GO player has completed the Glimmers of Gratitude Masterwork Research, an incredibly hard research available in Niantic's game. Pokemon GO players complete research tasks to help with Professor Willow's discoveries. These tasks provide Pokemon GO players with different items, and the more demanding the research is, the better the rewards.
Pokemon GO has different types of research, such as Field, Special, Timed, and Level-Up research. Another type of research available in Pokemon GO is Masterwork Research, which is long-term Special Research released by Niantic at each edition of the Pokemon GO Tour. Pokemon GO has four Masterwork Researches released so far, the first being the All-in-One research released at Pokemon GO Tour 2021, allowing players to catch a Shiny Mew. Completing Masterwork Research takes time and patience on the part of the Pokemon GO player. However, one trainer has shown incredible dedication and completed one of Pokemon GO's most impressive research.
YouTuber MYSTIC7 completed the Glimmers of Gratitude Masterwork Research, considered by many players to be the hardest Pokemon GO Research released by Niantic. In the video, he recounts the experience of finishing the research, revealing that the first part of the challenges alone took over a month to clear. In this first stage of the Glimmers of Gratitude Masterwork Research, Pokemon GO players must catch 492 Pokemon from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh.
Pokemon GO players who took part in the Pokemon GO Tour 2024 got the Glimmers of Gratitude Masterwork Research, which doesn't expire, and because of this, they can complete it at their own pace. The research has six stages of challenges to complete, in addition to capturing Pokemon from the first four regions. Other challenges included making Nice, Great, and Excellent curveball throws, and even catching Pokemon for 21 different days. Another quest is equally tricky and is only finished when the Pokemon GO player reaches level 40.
