Resident Evil 4’s remake has been a humongous success for Capcom, with sales now topping seven million units since the title’s launch a year ago. At last count, the outing had sold 6.48 million units as of 31st December, so it’s moved another 500,000 copies since then. It did launch on Mac, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPad late last year, too.

Speaking of the remake’s success in a financial report, the Japanese publisher said: “Capcom supported steady sales growth of the title with the release of the Separate Ways additional downloadable content, as well as with Resident Evil 4 VR mode free downloadable content for PSVR2 last year; in addition to these, Capcom also released Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition on 9th February, which includes the main game, the Separate Ways downloadable content, and the richly assorted downloadable content Extra Pack set.”

Since they are pretty much planning on remaking the entire mainline RE games, I'm very curious how they will remake RE6.

Oh God this will give them ideas again won't it?
They'll think RE4 has more action in it, so they'll start making insanely dumb Hollywood games again.
RE5 and 6 don't need remakes.
After this they should continue their FPS horror entries
Surely it needs to be code veronica soon. If any game is screaming to be remadecits that one. I dont know what they can do to 5 and 6 to actually make them good without changing everything.
With the exception of Code Veronica, I hope they focus on new RE
