In , your Sim characters can try to find and harvest new types of plant items throughout the Henford-on-Bagley area. Ranging from mushrooms to berries, these objects are scattered across different locations, like Finchwick, Old New Henford, and Bramblewood. You can help villagers with errands and cook food or animal treat recipes by collecting each new harvestable.
Every plant introduced in grows at certain times of the day and during limited parts of different seasons. You'll want to move your Sims around various neighborhoods to frequently search for whatever items they can discover. One of the pros of Living Lots in from the recent update comes from being able to easily complete quests tied to foraging items, especially around Bramblewood.
The five types of mushrooms exclusive to Henford-on-Bagley are Verdant, Charming, Lovely, Spicy, and Nightly variants of the vegetable. These are all fairly elusive items to find with very rare spawn rates compared to other plants. Those looking to complete errands or craft specific animal treats in may have to wait a longer time for mushrooms to grow back once they've been picked as well.
No mushrooms can be identified until a Sim fully harvests them first. They appear as before becoming one of the five types mentioned earlier. In the Bramblewood location of, your Sims will likely be able to find mushrooms at these locations:

Wild Nightly mushrooms can only be gathered between 10 pm and 6 am by any of your Sims. The same bench in Cordelia Falls is a great place to find this harvestable item very close to the Strange Mushrooms you may have already collected. The opposite side of the ruins where you get normal mushrooms should also have a few Nightly mushrooms for you to easily grab at the right times.
With the update installed, Nightly Mushrooms in are only harvestable during the winter!
