Loungefly Is Getting A 25th-Anniversary One Piece Collection

If you want a backpack officially licensed by a big franchise like Marvel or Disney, Loungefly is the first place you go. And if it isn't, it should be. The bag and apparel branch of the Funko empire has some incredibly creative products in its countless collections, and soon it will add a whole new series to its range. A big series in more ways than one as Monkey D. Luffy and the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates are getting their own line of Loungefly products.

One Piece turns 25 this year and to celebrate, Loungefly has unveiled its first-ever products featuring characters and imagery from the manga-turned-anime-turned-live-action Netflix show. The designs used for Loungefly's One Piece range don't include likenesses from the still-young Netflix version of the show, but it does have Nami, Chopper, and of course, Luffy as they appear in the manga and the anime.

The centerpiece of the collection is a 25th-anniversary Straw Hat Pirates backpack that has a lot of the characters to have joined Luffy's crew crammed onto the front. Their backdrop is a map of the East Blue, The Thousand Sunny sailing across it. If you'd prefer a slightly cheaper Loungefly One Piece storage option, there's an all-over-print backpack also included in the collection which is covered in emblems, each of them featuring a different character from the series.

Loungefly's One Piece collection was curated to celebrate the manga and anime turning 25. The backpack is the main event of the collection with characters from the show printed onto one of the maps they use on their quest to find the One Piece.
