You can now dive back into DOFUS Touch, the free-to-play MMORPG since it just made a comeback on mobile devices. Ankama, the French indie game studio, launched the game in 2016. They have now given a new lease of life to it with a fresh English server, a better early-game ride and a cleaner UI.
Ankama has also released other popular titles like Wakfu: The Brotherhood, King Crusher – Roguelike Game, Cosmobot – Hyper Jump and King Tongue. The story of DOFUS Touch is actually the set-up for the Wakfu animated series you might’ve been binging on Netflix.
It’s an MMORPG that grabs you with its tactical battles that demand cooperation. You might not know but DOFUS Touch is actually a creative collaboration between French and Japanese teams. And it totally shows. It’s wrapped up in an art style that’s a smooth blend of Western cartoons and Japanese anime.
Set in the mystical World of Twelve, your mission is to chase after the secrets of mystical dragon eggs known as Dofus. There are 15 unique characters for you to pick, including the time-warped Xelors, the mysterious Masqueraders, the beast-summoning Osamodas and the tech-savvy Foggernauts.
DOFUS Touch is massive with over 10,000 maps littered with quests, items and monsters. You can tackle more than 70 dungeons which are pretty easy to tackle as they have just 3 rooms. You also get neat one-room challenges they call Lairs. Why don’t you just check out the trailer below and see for yourself what the game’s like?
The game gives you new missions every week. The quests in the game are not sluggish and the game has some fun stories, with adventures like the Cania quests. If you love MMORPGs that are cute and laid-back, then grab the game from the Google Play Store.
